I just read your statement of what determines whether a life settlement is a viatical. Youe seem to indicate that the sole determining factor is whether the insured is living with a life-shortening terminal illness. Are there not 3 other items to consider in determining what is merely a Life Settlement as opposed to what is a Viatical Settlement?
