New Life Settlement Association Board
WASHINGTON, DC — (MARKET WIRE) — June 28, 2006 — The Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA) is pleased to announce the election of new board of director officers at our recent board meeting on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in Washington, D.C.
LISA’s board of directors elected Ramiro Rencurrell as the new board President. Mr. Rencurrell is the director of Life Settlements for Magna Administrative Services, Inc, which is located in Coral Gables, Florida. He is also the former Vice President of BMI Financial Group.
Mr. Rencurrell has been prominent in leading the dynamic growth of the life settlement industry. To this extent, he has accumulated 20 years of Finance and Accounting Management experience, including 10 years of experience in Life and Health Insurance Operations.
Mr. Rencurrell received his B.S. in Business Administration. He also attained a Masters in Business Administration from Florida International University.
LISA’s former board President Bryan Freeman will continue to serve as a Vice President on the LISA board of directors. Mr. Freeman, president of Habersham Funding in Atlanta, GA, served as a dedicated and dynamic President for LISA during four years. Mr. Freeman’s efforts in the association have brought the industry to greater recognition.
